PROJECT OVERVIEW
The first stage of Darwin Waterfront was completed in 2010. Wharf One is a mixed use Development comprising of interconnected buildings consisting of residential, leisure, business and iconic culture centres. The Darwin Waterfront also has an impressive landscaped domain including a wave pool, lagoon, lush parklands, beaches and timber promenade that cantilevers over the Darwin Harbour.
ACM were contracted to supply all materials, labour and equipment associated with the removal and replacement of 1300 square metres of the existing timber promenade during the peak of Darwin’s tourist season.
ACM’S SCOPE OF WORK
The removal and replacement of 1300 square meters of timber promenade including
- Supply of all replacement timber decking and structural joists
- Supply of all stainless steel connection brackets, fixtures and fittings
- Removal and replacement of existing electrical circuitry, lighting, fixtures and fittings
- Removal of the existing timber decking and joist structure
- Replacement of all structural joists and timber decking, including timber seating and balustrade
