PROJECT OVERVIEW

Macmahon were operating a mining contract at BHP Billiton’s Orebody 24 Mine located in the Pilbara, WA.

ACM were contracted to complete the design and construction of the heavy vehicle workshop slabs.  The concrete slabs were designed to jack CAT 793 dump trucks and contained cast-in rails to suit D10 Dozers.

ACM’S SCOPE OF WORK

• Design, documentation and certification;
• Detailed earthworks;
• Supply of materials;
• Form, reo, pour workshop slabs on ground; and
• Form, reo, pour sump pit.
